The Olds Connected Community Committee is committed to raising the “culture of use” in our community both for our general citizens and for business. We recognize that the future in retail and service business is going “virtual” and for our community of businesses to remain successful, we must embrace new technology and models. Other projects include Cyber-Seniors, web presence surveys in the business community, and Champions of Technology.
We are looking for energetic people of all ages who have ideas to engage the community in use of technology, be it broadband, virtual or augmented reality, robotics or any other experientially based activities that enhances, eases or enriches the quality of life in the community.
Meetings are every third Thursday evening at the Olds Information and Entrepreneurship Centre at 5201 – 51 Street (across from the Post Office). For more information please call 403-556-1105 or email email@example.com
